OCR: << <<< PARex v3.00 Installation - Release: 22-Nov-93 Copyright 1991-1993 Chris P. Vandierendonck, [AmiSYS]. TAZZE ZE ZE Release. në ne ne ne ne ne ne ne comes PARex v3. in four language versions, namely english (PARexE), german (PARexD), french (PARexF) and dutch (PARexN). Also included is the program WildPARex which only purpose is to let you experiment with the working of the wildcard codes. This program is also supplied in the forementioned versions. Minimal installation. Copy your preferred language version as "PARex" in a directory which is in the search path of your system. It's recommended to use the "C:" directory. If you want to use other languages as well, then just copy them to this directory. An AmigaDOS script called "Install" will do this for you. Just open a Shell/CLI window and execute this script. Maximal installation. First, do the same as previously explained. Secondly, copy the "PARexScripts" directory anywhere you like, but the "S:" directory is the most logical choice. Then make an assign to this directory called "PAREX:". Don't use another assign name, since many of the supplied scripts access files from the "PAREX:" directory. The files in the "PARexScripts" directory are ready to use AmigaDOS scripts and PARex script files to do some general tasks, such as stripping comments from source files, source file version updating, converting files between different computer systems, highlighting certain strings in a file, removing CR's, converting AmigaGUIDE file to normal text files, etc... The included "Install" script will also do this automatically for you. IMPORTANT! You must edit both the "Startup-Sequence" and the "Shell-Startup" files. Firstly to add the "ASSIGN PAREX: S:PARexScripts" command to your "Startup-Sequence". Secondly add "PAREX:" to the list of directories after the "PATH" command in both files.
